Tamara Michelle Lange, began dancing at age 7 and fell in love with ballet, jazz, and tap. As she took on other extra-curricular activities, dance became less of a priority as Tamara progressed through her teenage and early adult years. In 2008, inspired by her siblings Devin, Jordan, and Dylan, Tamara began dancing again and trained as part of Culture Shock San Diego’s scholarship program. Soon after receiving Culture Shock’s scholarship, Tamara began training with local hip hop dance team, Kruciaal Element. A year later, Tamara and her siblings began a project to start a local dance team of their own called Pride Rice. Tamara has performed at many high profile events, product launches, competitions, and on television. Several years later in 2011; in an effort to pursue their passion, Tamara alongside her siblings decided to open up a dance studio to service South Bay San Diego, an area that needed a home base resource for hip hop. The BOX Dance Studio quickly became the only studio in the area to specialize in hip hop. After a successful six years, the BOX Dance Studio closed its doors. Tamara most recently trained with Culture Shock Dance Center as part of the adult hip hop dance team, Shock Army. Tamara continues training at Culture Shock Dance Center in San Diego as well as through Steezy online.

Devin Luu, originally from Anaheim, California began dancing at the age of 15 with Filipino Folk dance troupe, PASACAT, in National City. At the age of 17, Devin began to explore other forms of dance including jazz and hip hop through Surreal Fidelity Advanced Dance Team and Kinections Hip Hop Team at Otay Ranch High School. Riding the wave of passion and ambition, Devin joined Future Shock San Diego and earned a full work study scholarship at Culture Shock Dance Center only a few months later. Devin has performed at many high profile events, competitions, and on television. Although Devin found herself balancing as many as eight dance teams/ programs at once, her love for dance has only grown. In March 2011, Devin took a leap of faith with her siblings, Michelle, Jordan and Dylan, and co-founded and co-owned The BOX Dance Studio in Otay Ranch Town Center, which ran successfully for six years. Devin continues training with one of the largest dance studios in San Diego, Culture Shock Dance Center, through weekly classes.
